Australia Consider Important in Developing Asia Cooperation

JAKARTA - Indonesia Relations with Australia continues to have ups and downs. This is the reason for ongoing dialogue between the citizens in the container "Indonesia-Australia Dialogue (IAD).
At this meeting, the Australian delegation will be represented by Co-Chair John McCharty. While the main director of the Strategic Center of International Studies (CSIS) Rizal Sukma McCharty become partners in this dialogue.McCharty shows three important points of this dialogue. First, the Government of Indonesia continues to assume an important role in Asia. It is a challenge for Australia.
"Australia considers it important Asia today. The challenge for us on this, whether Australia can play an appropriate role as a major contributor in Asia, or just a party withdraw from the progress of Asia," said John McCharty the opening of the "Indonesia-Australia Dialogue (IAD) "at the Four Season Hotel, Jakarta, Wednesday (05/10/2011).

McCharty also underscores the many Australians who do not understand the complexity of Indonesian society. Through this dialogue, it is expected the whole society of both countries are able to understand what is happening in Indonesia and Australia itself.
