Pig Head planting, Malaysians Arrested

Johore Bahru - Malaysian police detained four people suspected of planting nine pig's head at a mosque in the village of Taman Jaya. One of four suspects are teenagers aged 15 years.

Deputy Police Datuk Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Malaysia Shariff said the suspects were arrested to facilitate the process of investigation. Mokhtar also requested that this case does not spread to the public for security.

The suspects reportedly include pig's heads inside a plastic bag and planted in the courtyard outside the Masjid Al-Falah. The first head was discovered by a marbot mosque at 17.00 while the other head was found by a mosque. Similarly, as reported by The Star, Monday (02/01/2012).

When found, the already rotting pig's head and at the same time the police immediately deployed to investigate this case.

Suspect this horrendous case will be indicted by Malaysian law for insulting religion. This event also received criticism from various parties in Malaysia.

"Actions are not responsible for this should be condemned by all citizens of Malaysia. Malaysian Citizens have the right to live in peace and harmony," said Chairman of the Democratic Action Party Malaysia Carpal Singh.

Approximately 100 people also had to hold the action in front of the Masjid Al-Falah to condemn the action of planting the pig's head. (RHS)
