"According to the court's decision based recommendations Election Commission of Malaysia, six citizens who currently reside abroad can not follow the election and cast their votes," explained a member of Detta Samen Malaysian Human Rights Commission told AFP on Saturday (01/07/2012) .

The decision has angered Malaysians sixth of this. Whereas the previous Prime Minister Najib Razak promised equal rights for its citizens abroad, to vote as their citizens in the country.

PM Najib himself for election promises made this year, following a protest against the results of previous elections in July. The protest took place, after the July election results filled with suspicion of fraud.
